Cash Money Records launches publishing company

The street lit world and the hip hop world prove to be one in the same once again! Brian "Baby" and Ronald "Slim" Williams, founders of Cash Money Records, are growing their rap empire with urban lit books.
The new imprint, Cash Money Content, released it's first book this month. Raw Law: An Urban Guide to Criminal Justice by attorney Muhammed Ibn Bashir will be followed by two classics. Cash Money has acquired the rights to Iceburg Slim's Pimp and Wahida Clark's Justify My Thug. Slim and Baby are coming out strong with these two.
The label that brought you Lil' Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj plan to make stars out of authors by cross promoting the books with their music artists' ventures. Many people report hearing the artists' shouting out Cash Money authors on stage at concerts. Nicki Minaj announced that author duo
Ashley and Jaquavis are signed to the imprint and will be releasing their first book with the company soon. Lil' Wayne was shouting the title of their book Murderville on stage at a recent concert in Vegas. Very smart because the same audience that buys rap music buys urban and street lit books.
Pimp by Iceburg Slim will be released in May of this year. Check out the Cash Money Content website for more details.
